Each year we hire a team of about 50 college students to lead our summer camp programs. It will be an experience you have been waiting for. Not only will you be impacting kids’ lives, but you will develop real-world leadership skills, and have a chance to form life long relationships with other summer staff. We are 1/2 hour from Lake Michigan and on days off and weekends the staff have a great time together experiencing Michigan culture. For the Kids

The focus of our summer camps is to facilitate life change in the lives of the campers that come by teaching them God’s Word and we don’t want anything to get in the way of this.  Each cabin leader will have a one on one conversation with each camper and cabin devotions led by staff members will help spark discussions about the Bible.  Come help impact kids spiritually!

Competitive Pay

While you won’t get rich working at summer camp, it also doesn’t pay as bad as you think.  Pay starts at $165 per week and while that isn’t much, you also don’t spend much.  All meals, lodging, and fun are built into your package.  So now that you don’t have any excuses, what are you waiting for?

Important Information

  1. Dates of employment are May 24 – August 6.  You may request individual dates off if needed (for weddings, college orientation, etc), but in general you must be available this entire range of dates to work. All staff members will stay/sleep on campus while campers are here. Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning is scheduled time off for all summer staff.
  2. You must be 18 or older in the current year (and a graduate of high school) in order to apply for summer staff. If you are not 18, please visit our general employment page or our camp aide program page to learn more about other options.
  3. Apply today! Program Office applications are due by January 1st. All other Summer Staff applications are due by February 7th.
  4. Applications must be completed using our online web form.
  5. A complete application must be accompanied by three reference forms. It is up to the applicant to ensure that these are completed in a timely manner. Reference form must be completed online as well.
